Rap music and its effect on my bowling score.

My bowling score increases when rap music is playing.

Ping.

Health care.

Commercial Break.

Monday Morning.

I usually can’t sleep on Monday mornings as long as I would want to.  I’m usually amped up from the previous day of church. Sundays are always awesome. I get pumped up. I can’t sleep the next morning. Today it could be from the rubber dodgeball that was beemed at my head when I wasn’t looking last night. That left a mark. We’re transitioning back to rubber dodgeballs. They sting a little more but they are very cost efficient. Plus, rubber dodgeballs are more entertaining. Anyway, mondays are my day off. It used to be that I would take the garbage cans in and that would be about the extent of my action on a Monday. But these days, garbage day is on Wednesday.

In other news, we’re in my favorite month of the year. October. And I got a feeling (woo hoo) that October is going to be a good good month.  The other day Ashlee-Heather made a comment. I forget what it was but it was the reason for my tweet that said “I’m 27 soon. A-Heather is 26 that makes me one year smarter. ”  October is the bomb. I’m on the bomb squad.

And finally, it is going to be a good month for reading books too. Here is a sneak peak at a few that I’m going to be looking to get my hands on or already have. Because as the kid who hancuffed himself to the desk in my eigth grade class said. “Reading is fundamental.”

It’s Saturday and I’ve decided to start a new segment entitled ‘best book.’ Here is where I will state the best book I’ve read in the last month. Today’s winner: Not a Box. And finally, the other day I found a sweet record player in the choir room at BBC. It works too. It’s now the featured piece in my office and was well used at our third annual coffee/hot chocolate house with the youth @ BBC. Youth ministry tip # 347 Get a record player ASAP. check the choir room. underneath all of the musical books.

To kick off this new season of blog writing I’d like to introduce the world to a new segment entitled “Top Five.” Here is where I will list top five on any given topic, not to be confused with any given Sunday, the movie which I don’t really remember that well. In other news, Ashlee-Heather is back to her fall schedule with school, work and a placement for school. She’s pretty busy, minus busy. She thinks it’s time for me to get a hair cut. I’m growing my hair out for immigration purposes. It makes me look like a hockey player which will in turn make immigration easier. Hallelujah Holla back.

 And finally, yesterday was my day off and while Ashlee-Heather was at placement a little cat came to visit me in our backyard while I was on the phone. For a moment I thought I was on an episode of The Early Edition but I thought nah forget it yo holmes to bell Air. Good night Canada..America, can’t wait to see you again.
