Last week I was in Atlanta for the Drive ‘09 conference. It was pretty sweet and during the final session Breakskate from Randy Jackson Presents Americas Best Dance Crew performed. I tried to get in touch with them to see if they’d come to our next roller rink night at youth group but I was unsuccessful. Mostly because I just thought of the idea and I like the Jabawalkies featuring Shaq better. Although I would definitely change my mind if Breakskate got Shaq fu up on skates for the next all-star game. Here’s a little taste of Breakskate. Enjoy.

In other news, Ashlee-heather and I spent some time in the hospital before I went to Atlanta. We are pleased to announce the arrival of….Just joking. Ashlee-Heather had some neck pain and they were doing all sorts of tests. She is all clear now. I was hoping that I could find my neck brace, from 11th grade when I got screened (Basketball play) by Ryan Austin’s 3:16 pounds, for Ashlee-Heather to sport. She’s back to work and doing much better.

And finally, I’m introducing a new feature that is called motivational quote of the day. This is where I will post a motivational quote of the day. Today’s quote comes from Hollywood Hulk Hogan. When instructing the celebrity wrestlers on how to take a chair shot (being hit with a chair) he says “There’s really no way to do it but to do it.”  I used that quote three or four weeks ago when preparing budgets for church. Then I said my prayers and ate my vitamins. Good night Canada. America, good seeing you again.
