Next week Ashlee-Heather and I are going to be housesitting for a pastor of our church. Last night we went over to their house to get familiar with the place and meet the dog and cat. Ashlee-Heather and the cat were getting along just fine when all of a sudden the cat attacked.  I had flashbacks to this show (seen below) I saw on t.v., although the cat wasn’t as big as the bear.

I met a bodybuilder in church yesterday. He said that sometimes famous people work out at the gym he goes to. So far me and him have a lot in common. We both work out with famous people. And we’re both bodybuilders.

In other news, for the next two weekends we have winter retreats going on. One for the Jr. High and one for the Sr. High. I’m looking forward to both of them.  I’m going to play some good old fashion pond hockey. I decided the other day that I like hockey.  And yesterday when I was speaking to the Jr. high kids I spoke Canadian. I said, without even thinking, ‘grade seven’ instead of ’seventh grade.’ And then I added an eh? for good measure.

And finally, Today is President’s day in America and Family day in Canada. Ashlee-Heather is working on Family day. This morning I woke up at like 7:30 and started telling Ashlee-Heather that she was late for work but she was already gone.  And Chris says he has my Giants towel. He probably has my giants toe nail clippers too. And Dad’s mocasins. Well, enjoy your day America. Canada, have a good one eh?

P.S for your viewing pleasure I have this video. The other day I did a youtube search on Youth Pastor and came up with this video. It made me laugh.

This is just a little slideshow of snow from Brampton to Maine. Featuring the photography of my eldest brother and myself. He’s got a bigger driveway to shovel and more snow. In Pittsburgh they have heated driveways and no snow.

Yesterday I had a bloody nose. I think what happened was my nose was frozen on my walk to church and as it unthawed it started to bleed. The last time I got a bloody nose I was at Bloomsburg University with one David A. Cooper. I was on the top bunk and in the middle of the night it started bleeding. I yelled to Dave and he rushed to the bathroom to get paper towels. I think he must have thought I was dying. He came to my rescue. By the way, Cooper is now Dave’s middle name. He had his name legally changed to his mom’s last name. I can’t think of it right now.

In other news,  this past weekend was Tyndale’s basketball Alumni game. This is where the old players play against the current team. Everyone was wondering if Chris was going to show up. I kept saying I think he might. Uncle Tommy Muster can’t wait to see big Caleb. In his honor Muster took a half court fade away jumper during the game. Uncle Turtle, however, forgot to set his cell phone alarm clock.

Finally,  today Ashlee-Heather and I both have the day off.  My schedule of events includes bringing the garbage cans in and going to the bank.  Well, until we meet again have a good day America, and Canada bundle up it’s cold out there.

It’s 7:06 P.M on Friday.

I’m waiting for Ashlee-Heather to return from her first day on the day shift.

 No more night shift.

Congratulations Ashlee-Heather. See you soon.

In other news, the other day it snowed and snowed and snowed. My shoulders were starting to hurt a little from the shoveling. I think I might get artheritus one day. The good news, I don’t have artheritus yet and tommorrow I’m going to shoulder press Turtle.

Former WWE champion(fake fighting) Brock Lesnar made his debut in the UFC (real fighting) on Saturday night. And similar to what I’m going to do to Turtle when I see him next weekend, Lesner got tapped out 90 seconds into the big fight.

In other news, my boys and yours, the New York football Giants took care of the Patriots last night. I had the pleasure of viewing the game on the big screen at church with the youth of BBC. It was a divided crowd. Half wanted the Giants and half wanted the patriots, and half played xbox360 in another room.  During the final minutes a young patriot fan, in attendance, was heard saying “If the patriots don’t pull this out I’m going to take this jersey off, that my mom got me for Christmas and tear it in half.”  The Patriots didn’t pull it out but the jersey stayed in one piece.  It should be noted that if the Patriots won last night they would be referred to as “my boys and yours.” I’m a bandwagon jumper…that’s what I do. Although the Giants used to be my favorite team. I have a towel and wash clothe to prove it. One halloween I dressed as Phil Simms.

In yet other news, Ashlee-Heather went to see the big game with her mom and cat named Molly, who’s been under the weather lately. Molly is a senior citizen as far as cat’s go. But she was asked by Ashlee-Heather 10 years ago to accept Jesus.  Well, that’s all for now. Good day Canada..And America thanks for the game.

P.S. If any NFL associates are reading this, we didn’t charge any money to watch the game.  And we didn’t watch any commercials but instead watched Remember the Titans during commercial breaks.
