Monthly Archives: October 2007

Sunday night was our first annual Hot Chocolate house 2007 with the youth of BBC. This is where we made some sweet hot chocolate and bought couches from Goodwill that were 50 percent off. And then we sat in the couches that were 50 percent off and drank the hot chocolate and ate cookies. There was also a fire place present. We also had some coffee tables to place the hot chocolate cups on when they became too hot, at which time I said many times “that’s some hot chocolate”.. One end table everyone who was present signed and it will be auctioned off later this year. We also listened to the music of a talented young musician and a pretty sweet talk on youthfulness.  All in all Hot chocolate house 2007 was a success I can’t wait for “Hot chocolate house 2007″ the 2008 edition.

In other news, I just ate a lot of triscuits and I think one is lodged in my throat. My eyes are starting to water from coughing.

In yet other news, Ashlee-Heather and I are getting excited for the trip to Pittsburgh that’s coming in a few weeks. And we went to see the Raptors play on Friday night and ran into the tuff one who was busy sneaking into the lower seats of the arena.

And finally, Ashlee-Heather and I watched Transformers over the weekend. There is a part in it where the kid from that disney show (Chris knows it, I can’t think of it right now) is on the phone calling the police and he says something about his dad being the head of the neighborhood watch. That made me think of dad.  That’s all folks. Good night Canada. And America, let’s give Ellen her dog back..

Sunday night we had our first annual “pumpkinfest 2007″ with the youth of BBC. This is where we bought a mass amount of pumpkins and then carved them with knives, some bigger than others. One youth was spotted using a carrot carver. At the end of the night we strategically placed some of the pumpkins in a pastor’s office with a note on his door that read “Smile Jesus Loves you.” When he opened the door the pumpkins were smiling at him. I thought the smell of rotting pumpkins was going to be worse but it was actually a pleasent aroma. Other pumpkins we strategically smashed. All in all “pumpkinfest 2007″ was a success. I can’t wait for “Pumpkinfest 2007″ the 2008 edition.

In yet other news, I have just invented a new segment which I will hereby feature in the yet other news section. It is called “In case you were wondering.” Here’s how it works..we have two doors to our bathroom and Ashlee-Heather has decided to close one down until further notice. This means you can no longer access the bathroom from our living room/dining room…In case you were wondering.

Good night Canada..America, we’re coming soon and we’re bringing some loonies.

I’ve decided to start a new segment entitled “My Dream Last night.” This is where I talk about my dream last night and then interpret it. Last night I dreamed that I was in the church and robbers came in but they were really aliens. Then me and stone cold Steve Austin went on a mission to take care of them. Anyone who was not an alien was put in the sanctuary while Stone cold and I hunted down the rest of the aliens. Then I sat outside with someone who was Ashlee-Heather but didn’t look like her. Like it was Ashlee-Heather in a different body. I knew it was Ashlee-Heather though. And then the phone rang and I woke up.

Interpretation: I’m supposed to star in Stone Cold Steve Austin’s next movie.

In yet other news, I have recieved my work VISA. It’s good for two years. Hallelujah holla back.  Good night Canada, See ya soon America.

I’ve just started a new segment entitled “I was.” This is where I say what I was just doing..I was tuning my guitar and the bottom string broke. I now have a deep wound under my thumb from the string violently whipping me. Just joking it’s just a little scratch. I’ll only need 17.5 stitches. Not even. Still joking. It didn’t even leave a mark (Mackneer).

In other news, I decided to schedule in some time this week to clean my office. In other words I’ve scheduled a week to clean my office. I gathered up everything that was on my shelf that has been here since before I was born and put it in a box and hid it in another office. Now my big book shelf is completely empty. I’m thinking about removing it and replacing it with a nice couch. Although people do seem to  like looking at the empty shelf. It’s like art.

In yet other news, Ashlee-Heather has informed me that there is a rabid skunk on the loose in Brampton.  He resides in our backyard.  Me and Dad chucked rocks at it one time but dad couldn’t see him. Until next time America, see ya soon Canada.
