Today Ashlee-Heather asked if I was trying to be a poet. If I was or am I dont even knowit. Good night Canada! Keep it real America…

They used to say that pink was the new black..I’ve decided that black jeans are the new pink.  I tried to find a pair at the thrift store tonight. I couldn’t find a good pair but I did see an old telephone that you have to wind. I forget what they’re called.

Today I went to the mall and had Burger king for lunch (home of the whopper). I ordered a six piece chicken tender with fries and a coke. As I sat and ate the chicken tenders I noticed an old lady sitting next to me reading the newspaper. I noticed a man in a suit carrying what appeared to be a book that he wanted to read. I noticed a soft pretzel stand next to me. I noticed that one of my fries fell to the ground. I noticed a lady pushing a wheel chair. I noticed a married couple arguing about something. I noticed a lot of people on their phones talking to each other.  And that’s all I can remember noticing. And then I thought about the time I was in that mall and the fire alarm went off and no one noticed.  On a side note, I talked to John this week and he wants to open a fast food resteraunt with an Elvis theme. He said they would be featuring “Love me Chicken Tenders”.

In other news, last Friday I started ”national wear a tie to work day.” Out of that has sprung a new national holiday which is “wear your tuque (beanie in American) to work Tuesday” or “Tuquie Tuesday”. Please support this day.  And if you’d like to be on the committee of national holidays please contact my friend Dean (not to be confused with the big guy from the gym in Scotia) or myself.

Finally, the summer weather has returned. That was a quick winter.  Until next time America…Good night Canada.

Sup my peoples? It’s been a long lay off in between the last post and this post and some of my most loyal readers are  starting to get a little restless.  Don’t worry because just like the Rock I have FINALLLY come back to………blogging.  Mom and Dad just left from a weekend visit which included a picnic in the park. I think there were about 68 Geese and about 231.5 seaguls in attendence. Oh, and anywhere from three to 27 bees as well. Ashlee-Heather became afraid of the geese and stood up on the picnic table, meanwhile daddymack was swatting bees from mom’s face and I was finishing my sandwhich as fast as I could. As Ashlee-Heather and I departed from the scene we looked back to catch Daddymack laying the big boot on a couple of those fiesty Canadian Geese.  You don’t get the Cat rattled! The Geese now know!

In yet other news, Me, Myself, and Ashlee-Heather have been married for one year as of August 26. To celebrate we went to a sweet resort but I’m thinking about rearranging the house while she sleeps. That would be a fun surprise.  Love you A-Heath.
