Monthly Archives: May 2007

In honor (honour for my Canadians) of Victoria Day we are holding a comment of the month competition. First person to correctly identify the historicity, if you will, of Victoria Day wins the coveted Comment of the Month for May. However, in order to be eligible for the Comment of the Month title you must have won at least one Comment of the Month. That means that there will now be a six-time, say it with me Six-time, comment of the month champion. Congratulations Big Boy..

In other news, our pet bird Rockin Robin has successfully delivered triplets. Ashlee-Heather has yet to name them. You can never be too careful when naming your pets. I think their names should be Larry, Mocking, and Big.

There are some kids setting off fire works near the pond right behind our house. I was sitting on the porch and heard one go off and I hit the ground and crawled inside. Other than that it has been a pretty laid back Victoria Day. Ashlee-Heather has informed me via email what the actual reason is behind Victoria day and since we already know who won comment of the month, I can tell you. Victoria day is about the Queen’s mother. So now that we know who Victoria is we are left with this question; what is the big secret? Until next time America..Good night Canada.

Me, myself, and Ashlee-Heather returned this week from a surprise birthday visit to mommymack and found that we now have a pet bird living right outside of our door. Ashlee-Heather has decided to name it Robin and her husbands name is Blue as in blue-jay. Although Ashlee-Heather has yet to meet Robin’s husband. I’m contemplating asking Ashlee-Heather to ask Robin to leave because everytime I step out the door Robin just about gives me a heart attack. One of these times I’m sure Robin will fly directly into my face. It’s pretty scary at night when I forget that Robin is there and she flies so fast out of her nest. I brought home a pizza tonight and almost dropped it from the jump that Robin caused.  Which reminds me, the other day I was walking home from the mall and I think I got pooped on by a seagull. At first I thought it was a rain drop and then at the church I noticed a white spot on my new shirt. Wouldn’t it be sweet to be a seagull? Flying around and droppin dumps on people. Maybe that will be our next installment of the segment known as ‘Short Story.’

In other news, Ashlee-Heather is watching The Queen right now. I wonder who plays Jackie L in the movie?

In yet other news, I found one of those fischer price basketball hoops at the church and put it up on a table so it was like 9 feet high. I was doin some crazy dunks on that thing. I need to find another hoop and then I can challenge someone to full court one on one like we used to have in our garage.  Until next time America….Good night Canada.
